On Saturday, March 24th (dinner-time) my family of 6 (2 adults/4 children) dined at Pulido's, as we do each time we travel through to west Texas. My husband & I were not very hungry, but our children were. We ordered them each a child's meal and ourselves cheese nachos with guacamole & queso. After waiting 45 minutes and still no food we began to look for someone to get us our food. Finally the waitress arrived and when asked, "why did it take so long?" we were answered with "because of the nachos". Seriously??? I can throw some cheese on some chips and microwave in 30 SECONDS!!! We had the manager come to explain what took so long and he & the waitress began to converse in Spanish there at our table ~ we are white and only speak English. How rude it was for them to begin to speak in a language that we would not understand...and my husband told them so. I was appalled with our experience and will not be returning, as well as letting everyone know not to dine at this facility again.
