The place is trying for 'country quaint' but looks more like a run down barn inside. The service was very slow and indifferent. My wife and I both had the top sirloin and were very dissappointed. The steaks, athough ordered medium and medium rare, were quite tough and had little to no flavor. With these meals priced at 15+ dollars you'd be better off going to the Chili's up Denton Highway by Wal-Mart.

We love visiting for the buffalo burger & chicken fried steak which is huge and full of "steak", not just batter. Our friends have recently tasted their sweet potato fries and loved it. The service is always great and we love bringing friends here. They love it too and vow to visit again! My only suggestion is that they serve sweet tea to accompany the great country cooking!
