Food Safety in question written by

Last visited this restaurant on March 19, 2006
Third return visit to the restaurant. Dinner for 2 on March 21, 2006 @ about 6:15 PM. One other customer was in the dinning room. Four (4) main dishes that we tried from the buffet were cold that should have been hot. Reported the problem to a lady who I have noticed on pasts visits as well as this one is always on the phone. Doesn't even take a break when you pay your check at the register. The lady spent 5 minutes explaining to us that the buffet is as hot as it can be. She suggested we take food from the bottom of the pan. She would not address the food safety issue that we were concerned about.
We ate some boiled shrimp, 6 crab legs, and one poor cut of steak and were charged the regular buffet price of more than $20.00.
I am going to report the problem to Behind the Kitchen Door in hopes that someone will check all of the food.
