May the memories of the good, sweet, clean(?) Jim's burger live forever. This place had the juiciest most savory meat. The atmosphere was all business, no fancy crap. I frequently found myself eating there 2 to 3 times per week. So friendly were the owners, that when I walked in many times they knew exactly what I would order. The basic cheeseburger, which was 1/2lb, was great but it was the double meat cheeseburger that I would shove down my appreciative gullet on a regular basis. With a butter-toasted bun, thick sliced heavenly grilled onions, lettuce, pickles, (no tomato please), and mustard the two patties of goodness required that you NOT put this beast down while eating. I chose to lovingly position my meat burger above the fries while eating to bathe them in its essence prior to finishing them off for my coronarily abusive dessert. If you never had the pleasure of dining at Jim's, it is my opinion that your favorite burger is simply #2 (Ha!). I love Jim's--May God rest its greasy soul! By the way, I will never patronize any business which resides in the office /retail space which now sits on the site formerly occupied by Jim's. May the developer of this site go bankrupt (it still stands empty to this day!).
