The blue cheese dressing was so highly peppered, it was unedible, and the waitress very casually explained that it was "spiced up". No mention of this when I ordered it.
My guest's mashed potatoes (she had requested baked) were cold.
The bread, which we had to ask for twice, and were told "it's in the oven", finally arrived at room temperature.
Forget about getting coffee. Even though it was ordered by 2 of us as we were seated, only the water came. It was finally brought, but the waitress won the challenge of getting refills, and we eventually abandoned the effort.
The main dining room had only 2 other occupied tables, yet we were seated directly next to a party of 6, which were obviously celebrating happy hour, and it was difficult for anyone in our party of 3, to hear what was being said at our table.
We have been to Jangos on perhaps a dozen other occasions, and never know quite what to expect. The food and the service have been nearly flawless on some occasions, and as described above, on others.
I see where the marquee now says "under new management". Not sure whether I'll give it another try.

The first thing i ever tried at Jangos was there Wings. I have never had such good wings anywhere! There are 3 flavors you can get the wings rolled in, but my favorite is the buffalo sauce or something like that. I am not one that can handle spicy food but these wings are so addicting, that even though my mouth is on fire i just can't stop eating them. Their wide selection food not only caters to meat and fish lovers but also to vegetarians. My favorite dish there is the vegetable lasagna!!! MMmmmmmm GOOD! I have dined in at the restaurant but have also ordered the food to go. You can go to this establishment in casual clothes or get dressed up, go for a romantic dinner or a family dinner. No matter what mood you are in or what reason brings you there, you are always going to feel welcome.

I love this place! The inside of the buidling has a warm, cozy feel. It is great to have a restaurant in Arlington that brings in live Jazz and Blues bands. When it comes to Jangos' entrees, I love the chicken fried steak, salmon and well, everything I've tried, but my favorite is the jalepeno bacon wrapped filet.
After dinner we went out to the patio to relax and have a martini. The weather was nice and we could sit under the trees and listen to the band inside.
I have dinned here many times and will continue to do so. If you have not tried Jangos, you are truly missing out.
