This place has wonderful atmosphere and food but don't count on the waitstaff to listen if something is wrong. I told them I didn't want mushrooms on my food as I am allergic and when he put mushrooms on my food and I told them about it, they said too bad and asked me to pay my bill and leave. It is really sad as this place has wonderful food but I won't be going back.

I'm a big fan of hibachi food, and I've lived in Arlington since I was little so when my boyfriend suggested I actually go to the hibachi grill in Lincoln Square I expected something different than what I got. The food was good, service was ok at best but what got me was what the place looked like on the inside. I think if you're going to charge regular hibachi prices you should make the effort to update the place so it doesn't look like an old Wendy's. I also didn't like being sat behind two big bars that ran from the floor to the ceiling. Why do restaurants even have seating like this? I liked the place okay, and I might go back again but if I've got the time it's worth the drive and five more dollars to go to benihana. At least the people there have personality!

The food is just decent; it tastes the same and costs the same or even cheaper at other restaurants. If you want Jap food then go down the street to Nagoya or Cafe Hana. The hostess, who is apparently one of the owner's two wives, was rude to me and my friends. She yelled at the waitresses for no reason in the middle of the restaurant, causing a huge scene while we were eating. She was irritible and aggressive and refused to let us sit wherever we want. Instead she forced us to sit at a cramped little table even though the place wasn't crowded and we could've sat at a bigger table. Our waitress told that she was like this all the time, and people quit regularly which is why they always have a help wanted hanging up. I have never met a ruder woman in my life and will never go back to that place.

I used to eat here at least once a week when I lived close to it. Their food is great. I have never had problems with the waitstaff. I have had small issues that might normally come up during or even after dining but they have always been happy to correct any problems. I have even had a steak cooked incorrectly and they made a completely new one for me. I suggest this place to everyone I know.
