Not quite a steak house written by

This place is nice enough but it is a cross between a Mexican restruant and a steak house. The steaks are ok but you have to be careful on how you order. Mexican style cooking is common so instead of bake potatoes and salad you more likely to get refried beans and rice. All and all a good place but it is so local that travelers need to understand what they are ordering.

The food was excellent, the service was exceptional. You get quality dining at a very affordable price. The parrillada was superb. It feeds about six people for about $30.00, you can't beat this. Their "pollo Maria Isabel"
is a succulent chicken breast stuffed with Monterrey cheese, herbs and mushrooms and may be served with a baked potato and a side caesar salad; it is simply devine. One does not have to travel to San Antonio to experience quality dining because it's only a few minutes away.
