I was confused. Are they trying to be upscale or down home? The menu items and price suggest that they are trying to be fine dining, but my beef filet was cooked in steak sauce. Gourmet doesn't eat steak sauce. And a side of turnip greens? The chairs were saggy, the table, not sturdy - more reminiscent of a bbq place. On the plus side, the wait staff was pleasant, the candles on the table were lit as the sun set and it softened the ambience a bit. I'd like to see them get a little more casual, which would seem to match the restaurant's name and environment.
