Service was not friendly at all, but food is worth the attitude. You have to purchase 2 soups; rice comes with an additional cost, substitutions of vegetables comes with an extra charge and parking is awful. With a little patience, the end outcome is authentic thai food with a burst of flavors. Two words: Carry out.

We have eaten at Sawasdee several times, do not go for lunch, the portion is tiny, and there are no soups etc., to accompany the entree. At dinner, every little thing is an added cost option...Why bother when Sweet Basil is authentic, superb food, reasonable and simply the best dinning experience in Chattanooga!
