Excellent, authentic, Cuban food. As a native of Cuba I can vouch for the authenticity and the quality of the food. The bread used in the Cuban sandwich is genuine Cuban bread, which is a rare treat in Nashville. The restaurant is very small, but the staff is friendly and eager to please. I always stop in when I'm in the neighborhood.

It is hard to find good Cuban food in Nashville. Back to Cuba is the real deal! I found it a couple of weeks ago and now I find myself having lunch there 3 times a week. The food and the service is excellent! This is authentic Cuban food at its best.

Cuba begat Miami begat Back To Cuba Cafe

Growing up half Cuban, I am familiar with good to fantastic Cuban cuisine. Back To Cuba has food equal to any of the Cuban restaraunts in Miami and chalenges some home recipes, however the menu selection is limited in comparison (Tennessee doesn't have the Latin contingency as Miami, FL.) All the food is fantastic especially the Cuban sandwiches acting as the perfect introduction to the cuisine. The store itself is small but the atmosphere is cozy, relaxed and friendly. If I'm not cooking or visting family in Miami, this is where I love to grab a bite to mix up the day-to-day foods we've grown accustom to up here.
