We arrived after work for drinks at the bar. I was pleasantly surprised with the best martini I've had in a long time! (Thanks Jarrod!) There were 8 of us and after the martinis and the constant smell of the sizzling porterhouses we decided to see if we could get a table. It was a Thursday night and they were a little crowded but No problem in 20 minutes we were seated. We couldn't wait for the porterhouse - but we were talked into the bacon and tomatoe appetizers! Great choices to start with and the markjoseph steakhouse is to die for! We ordered the standard at a NYC steakhouse. When the porterhouse, hash browns, mashed potatoes and creamed spinach arrived we couldn't wait to get started. We had a great chianti and were served like kings! We skipped dessert and headed back to the bar for another martini! Like I said they were the best martinis I had in a long time! I would definately go back for lunch or dinner! Best steak in NY!
