Misleading information!
REJECTED gift cert (only reason we went there), website WRONG ($5 cheaper & more to choose), waitress didn't refill drinks. Food ok but both our 2nd choices. :(

Awful service
My family and I went there for dinner recently. To start out, the waitress brought us water but then never asked if we wanted anything else to drink. Throughout the entire meal she never once came back to check on us and it was only when we got her attention to come back to the table did she bring us water. She acted completely indifferent to us being there and spent most of her time chatting at the bar area. The food, which took a long time to come out, was less than average but priced above average. In fact, forgetting the awful service, I would never go back there because of the food and price.

Food was very good. Limited lunch menu but very tasty. Soup was top notch. They were willing to make us something not on the menu though. Great atmosphere for a business luch or
a place to take the wife or girlfriend. Portions were large
and the service was top notch. Wouldn't call the place inexpensive but would say it is a fair value. -
Delightful
I stumbled on to this small Resturant-bar in the neighborhood,so glad I did. The food was not only delicous but the bar was fun and the music was even better.Prices are more than resonable and the bar is very fair.I had a chance to meet the manager (she is just charming) as she pasted through to ask if everyone was enjoying themselves, and if there was anything anyone needed.I must say it was a pleasure to be there and we will be back.

We asked about appt and were lead towards the seafood sampler **** for the $$ which was $24.00 served 3.Our dinners were not only tasty but plentful they come with salad (no extra charge)servce was great did anything to please. We hit on a night there was music and that made it even better.Prices are great down right cheap,we also had wine at $20 a bottle.

A Mature Experience
We thoroughly enjoyed our meals at Manzella's from the meet and greet by the owner ( Italian... yes, Don...no), the drinks we had at the bar and the meal itself. We ordered manicotti (yummy) and a scallop special with a vegtable side dish (exquisite. Both were absolutely delicious. I can agree the service is a tad annoying but the decor makes up for it -the mural is a stargazer and if you ask the owner - he will give you a piece of his (its) history. Definitely return.

I wouldn't go back.
I was looking at the site and noticed a couple of reviews on Manzella's in Kenmore, N.Y. The day I was there with my wife we had walked up for dinner. We live in the neighborhood and had been meaning to try the place. Not only was the food and service disappointing, but there was a sewer-type smell that seemed to come and go. The food was barely palatable. We tried to say something 3 times, but no one cared. Our server said that they'd make it up to us next time, like we'd ever go back! We tried to rationalize the cost, which was really just too much money. We eat out a lot, which is why I was looking over your review site and other food review sites to see what's been reviewed around Western N.Y. It's too bad that a restaurant this close to us was such a huge disappointment. It asks here to rate the food and the service. The service was horrible, but to even try to describe the food is useless. Nothing was good, all of it being well below passable.

A very bad evening.
I've had a few bad restaurant experiences in my life, but this one was a topper! First off was trying to get some type of meaningful service. The server seemed totally indifferent, like she (the server) couldn't care less if we would ever comeback. Four of us were there on a Friday night (3/3/06) for a casual business meeting. One of our parties steaks tasted like it had been cooked in a greasy, luke-warm frying pan. Out of everything we ordered, only one salad was okay. Everything else we ordered had problems, of which the indifferent service didn't help when complained about. Replaced food was not much better. The four of us ended up going to Frank and Theresa's Anchor Bar afterwards for wings. Manzella's restaurant in Kenmore? The only recommendation I'd have for that place is to stay away!
