Went in with friends at work. Kind of a semi meeting.
Food: Amazing. Just keep in mind that it is Ethiopian, so no silverware is involved. You get a little basket with crepe-like bread that you use to scoop up the food with. Also, hehe, you don't get your own plate either. It comes on one big plate that everyone shares. The food itself is delicious. We're definitly going back there. The folks that run this joint really know their stuff. I especially liked the spiced beef with the peppers and onions. Siga-wat.
Service: Very different. The waitress was very attentive. She took care of all our needs ensuring that we were satisfied with the food and everything around us. If you come in, just go take a seat or just walk up and ask for a menu, otherwise you just get blank stares like, can I help you? Make sure when you are ordering that you pick a backup item, because they don't always have everything in stock.
Atmosphere: That's their weak point. If you want atmosphere go elsewhere. I prefer not to pay for atmosphere when I can pay for good food instead.
$22 filled three full grown men with large appetites, and considering that the quality of the food is better than some places that charge $50 a plate, we will definitely be going back for more.
A couple tips: This is a very small family run place. Bring cash. They weren't taking plastic when we were there. Also, when you're looking for this place, keep your eyes wide open, otherwise you'll drive right past it without noticing it.
