My husband and I eat at Chinese buffets regularly, but this evening we decided neither of us would eat at one for a really long time. We discovered a cockroach in the crab legs at the buffet station. We pointed it out to one of the workers who removed it with the tongs, threw it on the floor, and left the crab legs at the buffet station! She then had the nerve to bring us our bill at our table for our two meals. When my husband stated that he didn't think we should pay for meals that weren't finished due to our loss of appetite, she responded with, "whatever!" and wanted to charge us anyway. My husband and I then asked her if she had found a cockroach in the food she was going to eat at a different restaurant, would she want to continue eating and pay for her meal. No answer. My husband offered to pay for one of the meals as a compromise. While ringing through the credit card my husband asked to speak with a manager. "None available." He asked for the owners name. "I don't know the owner. I just work here." No owner or manager on duty, yeah right! Needles to say we won't be back anytime soon.
