this is the best food ever. really good taste, not bland. I think if you want really good buffet style food, go to tin tin. It is the BEST by far!!

O.k....this is a buffet. That being said ,if you like quanity and variety like I do ,this is THE place to go.And if you get lucky as we have you might get some quailty thrown in there also. NOt all chinise buffets are created equal but this one does a pretty good job at changing my wifes mind about buffets(she's never been a buffet lover)
She always says NO!NO! to buffets (any kind of food) but makes an exception for TIN TIN and thats all.

Full complement of Chinese dishes not altered to soothe the American palate. Hooray! As they say in SF - if you want good Chinese food - go where the Chinese eat like Lichee Garden Restaurant on Powell. Ditto Tin Tin on Park. Specialty soups, fresh sushi - great variety, Chinese Duck sandwich ++, and a great assortment of other foods to explore. Being allergic to seafood I wish more items were labeled. Sometimes takes awhile to get an English speaking chef/cook. Have yet to figure out what many of the steamed items are. Table service is excellent and the food is well stocked. Excellent value at about $15 on weekends (again - this is not your $8 "americanized buffet). On weekends, go before 6pm or wait in line. No reservations. Even for those who do not like Chinese but like seafood - evenings you can gorge on oysters, king crab legs, etc. Go with others and have fun.
