The menu looks generic. The fancy names must be for the owners benfiit and not the customers. The food looks common. Must be owned by someone with money who doesn't need the business to generate a profit to keep opening locations. Tax write off or just a trust fund baby with no sense. The North Hills Location can't make any money with 5 guys just around the corner. 5 Guys isn't that great of food, but it is one great concept. As long as Chargrill is in Raleigh, all these other places like Pharoah's, Cookout, Andy's and Steak and Shake are just wasting their time. What Raleigh really needs is a Puck's Cheesesteak Chargrill. I'm from Philadelphia and I swear this place somewhere in eastern NC has a better cheesesteak than Pat's and the burgers put Chargrill to shame.
I ordered a Prortobella Mush. sandwich. After 20 mins. of no sandwich (my dinning mate got his (Philly steak & Cheese & fries) in less then 5). I went to the counter and asked where it was. They told me it took a long time to cook the mushroom sandwich. I sat back down. 5 mins later, still no sandwich, I asked at the counter again where my sandwich was and they still told me it took a long time to cook. The manager came to me and I asked for my money back, which I got back and then he tried to sell me a chicken sandwich!
" Fresh-squeezed orangeades are quite a treat, especially with that yummy crushed ice... "
