  Convenient for the restaurant but not for me!

  I've dined at Lola's many times and have always been very pleased with the food and the service. I've actually recommended the place to many of my friends and co-workers. However, today I took two of my colleagues (who had never been) to Lola's for lunch. The hot food line was backed up so we moved over to the sandwich/grill area to order turkey sandwiches where we stood for about three minutes without anyone saying a word to us. I asked one of the numerous people behind the counter if we could order sandwiches and was told that they were not making sandwiches today!?! I then asked someone else who said that they were and called from someone to come help us out. The person who came to help us out only served us attitude, not sandwiches, saying that she only had ham and turkey and that the indeed were not making sandwiches. I then told her to keep her turkey and ham and took my business elsewhere. I may go back to Lola's eventually but know that the two colleagues who had never been will not be back. I mean, at least put out a sign that says, 'No sandwiches today' or be nicer when someone wants to order a sandwich. I'm a customer, not a mind reader and a sign would suffice.

  I love Lola's...from the food to the wonderful people!! It is a good place to eat as well as network and to see old friends. The food is reasonable and the owner has the cutiest smile!! What more can you ask for!! Lola's is here to stay!! This cool spot exceeded my expectations!!
