Just one of the best meals I have eaten anywhere written by

Bistro Sofia is an elegant and non stuffy restaurant in Greensboro, NC. The intereir is nicely laid out, elegant and very comfortable. I have taken friends to dine there several times since my first visit everyone was impressed several have been back on their own since. Each time I go it is differnet. diffent. The charactor filled waitstaff makes sure of that. The food is always of the highest quality and cooked to perfectly. The flavors of the food ( a mix of French and Asian) blend beautifly, lasting long in the mouth and satisfying on the palate. Try the confit of duck (the best I've had) or the Pomme Frites - delitious. The crab cakes are as good as any I've had, Large chunks of crab throughout. There NY Strip au Poivre is delicious. The deserts are just as wonderful and creative as the entrees. The Frozen Lemon Mousse was light and delicate. The Chocolate Cake, one of the waiters described is twisted decadence, it is. The service wonderful, thoughful and they anticipated all my needs. They were very knowlegeable about wines and guided me to several wines I was blown away by. They were just alot of fun or faded into the background depended on what kind of group I was with. I don't think you could go wrong recommending this restaurant to anyone.
