after living here 4 years today was the first time i tried there food. i went in to get a carry out order to take back to work because im getting tired of the typical fast food junk everyday. i was in the mood for tacos but im really tired of taco bell since i eat there so often. the lady behind the counter was very friendly, i ordered a few tacos and fries. they had it done pretty quick. i dont normally give tips when i order carry out but i should have left her one, she included a bag of tortilla chips and a few cups of salsa. as far as the food the tortilla chips and salsa were excellent, the fries werent very good but i went there at 3pm so it was kind of between the lunch and dinner crowd so the fryers might have been turned down. i ordered 2 shredded beef tacos but when i got back to work i realized one of them was shredded beef and the other was hamburger. it was ok because they both tasted fine, the only thing i didnt like about them is that the tortilla shells were cold and tasted like what you would expect from 99 cent taco bell food. they werent expensive though. like $2.50 each. and they were quite filling. i liked the way they just put the meat and cheese in the shell and put the tomatoes, lettuce and green onions on the side to add what you want. quite generous with the portions, i added everything to them that was included and they were stuffed. my only complaint was the tortilla. there salsa on them and with the tortilla chips was excellent. they also have to go menus that i took to look at and i must say they have very reasonably priced lunch specials. all you can eat tacos for about 5 bucks for lunch. but to be honest they are filling enough that i doubt if i could possibly eat more than 3 of them. nothing on the menu was over $20 and im sure that would be a huge meal. the fries werent really good but i should have ordered refried beans or spanish rice as a side dish. i just think the fryers were turned down and they were limp and greasy. i will surely try there food again though.
