  Los Portales is a nice family friendly mexican restaurant. The food is great, the waiters are great and the owners are nice people all around. We go several times a week. The steak and shrimp is delicious and they have a great special on Wednesday where you get Fajita for two for 7.99. Also on Wednesdays two guys come in that are from Mexico originally and play guitar and take request for tips. They are excellente..........

  Los Portales has been a favorite of mine ever since I was introduced in 2002. The food is authentic, servers are friendly, and atmosphere is genuine. It's the only Mexican restaurant I eat at in Springfield. Really...I go for the cheese dip!! You have to try it. I return to the restaurant bi-weekly if not weekly.
