One thing you'll notice about Dan's Place is that it is basically a neighborhood dive located on the northwest end of Springfield in one of the seedier neighbothoods. Don't let that stop you from eating there. Dan is a big boy and doesn't tolerate any crap in his establishment. The charcoal grilled steaks are second to none and the menu offers a large variety of other grill items.
It's not the most romantic place to take your date but it's not meant to be. It's the kind of neigborhood sports bar you don't see often anymore.
Eat there. You'll be back.
