The old Corwins is closed, thankfully as it had gone downhill significantly. The new place, Fallon's, is just terrific. We went there for dinner last week to check out the new place and we totally blown away. The food was better than any bar i can remember going to. It's great to have a good place back in Olivette!
the people who owned and operated Corwin's for years sold the restaurant in 2008. Since the sale the food qality and service have gone straight down the tubes. Used to happily and willingly go there once a week (my son loves the video games and the food and service were great). We now refuse to take him there. Bet it's closed by end of '09
We've been eating at Corwin's ever since it relocated to olivette. it started off strong but unfortunately has deteriorated to unacceptable. can't recommend strongly enough to avoid going there. if you're in the area, dickies next door does a good job. the food is maybe still ok to eat but you'll have a hard time getting any so it's hard to say.
Corwin's is no longer in business. They did this to themselves. There is a new bar and grill moving into the space soon.
Corwin's relocated to Olivette and it's just what we needed. It has a neighborhood bar feel but a bit classier. The service is wonderfull, our waiter was very outgoing. Now for the food, the best part. The fried artichoke hearts are scrumptous. The St. Louis Steak Sandwich and the buffalo chicken sandwich are delicious. And their take out is just as good.
Since Corwin's moved to their new location they are still the quality restaurant that they were before. The food is awsome and it is a very reasonable...a great value for your money. The grilled chicken is delicious and the onion rings outstanding. I highly recommend this spot! Good for families, too.
