Saw the banner outside about the website and checked it out. It looked pretty good so I deciced to take my wife and try them for dinner. We had the homemade manicotti and were quite pleased with it. It was very fresh and very good. We also had the homemade lasagna and found that to be very good and quite large. It reminded me of my trip to Italy with the freshness and quality and with Andrea Bocelli playing in the background what more could you ask for. The waitress talked us into getting a slice of their homemade cheesecake (we took it to go,as we were stuffed)and were amazed as to it's creaminess and flavor. It was somekind of citrus and vanilla blend but I don't recall the name. This was our first but won't be our last trip to Papa's. It was extremely busy that night as they were participating in the Aliveness Porjects "Dining Out For Life" but we got right in. They tell me that it's usually not quite that busy and apoligized for not being as attentive as they would normally be. We thought the service was excellent considering how busy it was. We can't wait to go back.

I've lived in Mpls all my life and I've eaten more pizza from so many different pizza places I've lost count. Upscale and over-priced to the lowly and greasy. I've had great pizza and lousy pizza.
Papa's Pizza has got to be the best pizza in town, bar none! As good as the old Gino's in Chicago? I won't go there. But if you want great pizza, especially try the East Coast, you can't go wrong here. Lots of variety and all adding up to a very pleasurable delight to the palate.
Service was swift and friendly.
Papa's Pizza and Pasta deserves a much larger audience for it's wonderful food.

Went on a Monday evening with friends and thought something must be wrong, Why is this place almost empty? The food was excellent! We had the East Coast Tomato Pie, I thought I had somehow time warped to Central Italy. It was amazingly fresh light and enjoyable. Our table also enjoyed an enormous piece of homade lasagna that was incrediblely light and fluffy and full of meat and cheeses. We also tried an array of different flavor cheesecakes (they had 4 kinds, we tried 3). the Essence of Sicily cheesecake was aslice of heaven. All this and we got half price bottles of wine to. We will be back and hopefully we won't have to wait to get in because sooner or later this place will be discovered.

Great pizza shop that NEEDS business in N MPLS!! It is one of few restaurants in the area, so CHECK IT OUT! The owner is friendly, the prices are reasonable and the cheesecake is quite lovely. The pizza's are huge, too, so plan on sharing!! Looking forward to the next visit!
