The Little Oven is truly little, and always busy in the evenings. Parking is usually on Minehaha, but not a long walk. The food makes it very worthwhile even on the coldest winter night. Waits for a table are not long in spite of the size. Sitting in the entry area waiting for a table is great people-watching, as dozens come for the great take-out pizza. The dining menu is not just Italian, and everything they have is excellent, and the portions are large. Popovers!! They have the best popovers since the Criterion in the 50's! The prices are SO reasonable. I really shouldn't have given this place away, it will just get more customers once they give The Little Oven a try.
wonderful! cheap! friendly! I have enjoyed eating at the Little Oven. Sometimes the parking if difficult, but it is worth walking a little more to get to dine in. I have enjoyed the friendly atmosphere and excellent service. The staff is friendly and very skilled in meeting the needs of their customers. Pizza prices for carry out are unbeatable. Iy is a great night out for all occasions. I love the pasta and chicken. Even though I need to prepare with cash because I am from Wisconsin, it is worth it.
