Chapala Restaurant

I use to like Chapala in the early days when service was great and food was good. Now food is okay, service is really bad. It's a local restaurant that my family and I loves to dine in. But lately I feel like the waitress doesn't care about the customer at all. If you ask for something (e.g. refill on your soda, extra salsa etc.) they'll tell you okay we will get it but half an hour later it's not there until it's time for you to leave the restaurant it's still not there. The food is average you will find other mexican restaurant out there that is way better. The ambiance is uncomfortable esp. when you're surrounded with unattentive waitresses. Hardly any customer when I went there and I still can't believe that they can't give good service for the few one that were there. A lot of the waitresses were hanging near the kitchen area chatting. Got my extremely salty fish "Pescado Frito" I don't recommend this unless you like pounds of salt on your food.
