La Reyna's decor had some nice touches from Honduras. Our waitress thoughtfully recommended fried plantains, a traditional Honduran dish, as an appetizer, and we enjoyed it very much. The entrees were substantial for the low price, and featured pleasing differences from the usual south of the border cuisine - for example, crunchy green cabbage instead of lettuce. Read the menu descriptions carefully, as a tostada here might not be exactly what you are used to. All in all, a very nice experience, and one that I recommend.
My wife and I and another couple dined there recently. The presentation of the wide variety of entrees we ordered were bursting with color and delightful aroma when set before us. As we sampled the fare, the many unique tastes complimented the beauty of the Hondouran food perfectly. La Reyna also offered native creamy fruit drinks that my wife found delicious. I drank tea. The wait staff was courteous, responsive, and friendly. All in all, It was a perfect dining experience. My wife and I have suggested it to many friends. We will return to La Reyna often.
