    My favorite Greasy Spoon Grill

    I have been eating here since I was a kid. It's the best "Local" hamburger joint in town. A family owned/run operation, the food is, well, it's convienent, great lunch plates, great burger and fries, and the best strawberry and fresh peach pie known to man. The Peach pie is seasonal. The gals who work there are friendly and most have been there for years. They take excellent care of their customers, and overall, George's is an institution here in Shreveport, a place you will enjoy old fashion food and great service.
