After moving to Baton Rouge a little over a year ago, I've discovered that this is a hidden gem...every dish I've tried (their daily specials are always good) has been hot and tasty...try the gumbo and the stuffed shrimp...Wednesdays are country fried steak days...don't miss it! Service is good and sweet tea is good also (hard to get good sweet tea at most restaurants)

I eat here atleast once a week and have taken several different people on different occasions. Food is always GREAT and no one has complained. The catfish is really good. Jambalya good, red beans and rice Chicken Fried Chicken, good. Try it, you will not be disappointed.

Very good food and great service. Try there gumbo its the best. And there poboys are awesome also.
