  Horrible Service

  First time in restaurant, not aware of the fact that a reservation was needed to eat at the grill area, which was fine but the greeter was very rude when stating this fact as if I was a total idiot, not a very good welcoming start. Once seated in the nongrill area, no one waited on us for at least 15-20 min. Then the waitress came and dropped menus off so fast I didn't even have time to look up and see her face, she stated I'll be right back, which was another 10 min later. In the mean while another waiter took our drink order. Once our order was placed, I do have to admit it did not take long to receive our food. The food is over rated, very expensive for what you get. I can not speak for the grill side however, people there seemed to get better service and be more satified with their food. Overall I thought the experience was horrible, and I personally would not reccomend this restaurant to anyone, and I definetly would not return for a second time.

  My FAVORITE restaurant in Lexington !!! We go several times a month. The food is great, service is good and quick. Cooks are entertaining and friendly. Menu offers many selections and prices are comparable for a multi-course meal. We've tried all of Lexington's Japanese restaurants and Nagasaki is the best by far.
