This is a great place to eat -- wish we'd discovered it sooner. I would describe it as "upscale country cooking" or country cooking gourmet style. They have a nice variety, but their strength is their "Comfort Foods" part of the menu. My husband loves chicken livers and says theirs are the best. The fried chicken with white gravy is wonderful, golden color with nice crisp skin and juicy tender meat, served piping hot. The blackened fish is very nice. They have hot browns, but haven't tried one yet. Try the potatoe cakes and the corn pudding for sides. For dessert, definitely try the bread pudding -- heavenly!! Nice, cozy atmosphere ... friendly, excellent service. Prices very reasonable and big portions. You can't go wrong!
