  Gyros were not that great. I tried better and was not happy. Thats the main reason I came here in the first place.

  WELL THE PLACE IS NOT A PRETTY PLACE AND THE TABLE/BOOTHS LOOK OLD AND DINGY. NOT A PLACE TO GO IF YOU CARE FOR A GREAT AMBIENCE. THE MAIN REASON I WENT HERE WAS FOR THE GYROS SANDWICHES WHICH I HAD MANY IN MY LIFETIME OUTSIDE OF BOWLING GREEN, KENTUCKY. FIRST OF ALL THEY ARE CHEAP WITH THE MEAT QUANTITY THEY PUT ON THE GYROS WRAP AND THEY ADD LETTUCE TO THE WRAP WITHOUT ASKING YOU WHICH GETS SOFT AND WELTED VERY VERY FAST SINCE THE HEAT ON THE MEAT WILL DO THAT TO IT. ALSO THEY SLICE THE MEAT AS THIN AS THEY CAN INSTEAD OF THICK SLICES WHICH TAKES AWAY FROM THE BIG TASTE FACTOR SINCE THE MEAT IS PRETTY DRY WHEN ITS SLICED SO THIN. THICKER SLICES RETAINS MORE OF ITS JUICE AND TASTE BUT THEY JUST GAVE ME THE EVIL EYE WHEN I TOLD THEM TO MAKE THE SLICES THICKER EVEN IF I HAD TO PAY MORE FOR IT. THE TASTE WASN'T THAT GREAT EITHER AND NEEDED TO BE SEASONED BETTER. UNFORTUNATELY,IF YOU HAVEN'T TRIED A REAL GYROS SANDWICH ELSEWHERE LIKE I HAVE , YOU MIGHT THINK THIS IS GREAT STUFF FOR A SMALL PLACE LIKE BOWLING GREEN , KENTUCKY. I JUST HOPED THE OWNERS WOULD MAKE THEIR GYROS MORE AUTHENTIC , BETTER TASTING AND NO SO CHEAP WITH THEIR PORTIONS BEING THAT THEY'RE NOT CHEAP WITH THEIR PRICES. MY EXPERIENCE OVERALL WITH THIS RESTAURANT IS 6 OUT OF 10. IT HAS LOTS OF ROOM FOR IMPROVEMENT.

  My girlfriend and i were in bowling green touring western Ky university. Hungry but not wanting fast food. We found a taste of europe. Wanting something different we tried it. the restaurant was small and humble. Our server was the owner as was our chef. A taste is known for it's Gyros. Never having it before i had it. And loved it. This is a nice place to go during lunch or dinner. The prices are extreamly reasonable. and the food is fresh and very good.
