  I had been to Uptown Bistro several times and enjoyed our meal. I went there for a girls night out a while back and had a terrible experience. We rodered several apetizers, and we were about 1/3 of the way trhough the hummus when I noticed the pita had mold on it. I brought it to the attention of my waitress, who proceeded to leave the moldy dish at the table and brin us new pitas. She did not remove the dish, offer to get us a fresh serving, nor did she notify the manager or take it off of our bill. She proceded to be rude for the remainder of our meal. I can be forgiving to mistakes, but this behavior and response was completely unacceptable. I will never go there again!!

  Everything was great except for the bartender tre he was much to drunk to preform the task at hand and could not keep his hands or eyes of the women diners/staff I was unable to get comfortable in your bistro I have enjoyed the bistro many times and have had never felt that uncomfortable not only was he all over the lady's I also had the opertunity to witness him be extreamly rude to a young women who came in the young lady ended up leaving your resturant she did not even wait to get seated after his rude comment about maybe trying a different resturaunt Myself and my husband were both offended for the young women and we ended up leaving also I woould really really try to rethink the staff that you have working the floor in youre place Because word of mouth can go a long way in a small town If your staff is going to demonstrate that type of professionalism on a saturday night wich would usally be a major night out (Butyour bistro was relitivly slow that night I can not even began to emagine what they are like when you are actually busy or unable to "babysit" or shal i say moniter thier actions

  Creativity, good ingredients, wine, great menu, wonderful view, creative owner and chef. good for lunch and afterglow after a movie.
