I think the management it a big part of the problem. They are extremely rude. Another thing that was not mentioned was the fact that the service takes so long. Plan to spend a good hour in there at least because of this. There are a couple of good waitress's, but the majority is not good at all.

Terrible Manager Rudeness written by daengle8

RE: Perkins Rest. Store #3819, Great Bend, KS - Guilty of having a VERY RUDE manager. On Sunday morning, 2 October, about 10 am, my wife carried in a Caffeine-Free Diet Coke. She can only drink these and must have one for Bkfst. Caffeine is bad for her health. The manager came back to the booth and very loudly and pointedly told her she couldn't bring in outside drink. Fine, we said, we would be glad to pay for one if he would have it served; also explaining my wife's medical problem; we put the coke in her purse. He left. The waitress then told us they did NOT carry the Caffeine-Free variety of Diet Coke. So my wife ordered ice and proceded to drink her own. By the way we also ordered $26 worth of food. He came back and berated her for drinking her own coke. Finally he left, AFTER I told him to either kick us out or leave the table.

You don't need these kind of small-minded personalities ruining your otherwise good reputation.
