Love's Seafood Restaurant

We recently moved to Savannah and wanted to try different restaurants. We were impressed by the atmosphere, service and especially the food. Our salads were fresh and our food was excellent. My only complaint is portion size (too large) and wished they offered half portions to avoid waste. Our waiter was pleasant and although we were given a picture of tea he continued to check on us and brought us everything we asked for. A great tip is to pay attention to the advisories on the menu of some items taking longer to prepare. I would recommend this restaurant and plan on taking friends & family there when they visit.

While I was attending a Georgia Master Gardener Conference 1/21/07 I asked the Hotel where I was staying about good Seafood and was advised to eat at Love's. To my disappointment it was for from the enjoyable. The restaurant was only half full and we waited at least 30 minutes for our order to be taken and another 30+ to be served. I ordered the $24.95 Seafood plater, broiled. It finally came 'over cooked' and dry. Did we see the waitress anytime soon? NO! Would I suggest anyone eating at Love's? No way!
