Go Fish

My fiance and I went to Go Fish for the first time in June of 2005. I grew up in Atlanta nad thought I'd had the best seafood to be had in Georgia (very naive)! We ordered the calamari for an appetizer. I had the crabcake dinner and my fiance had shrimp. From the first bite we were in shock. We'd never had seafood so fresh and perfectly seasoned in our lives. We typically cannot get through an entire appetizer and main dish. We got through all of it and wondered if we needed to order more. Our bill was more than $60. It was more than worth it. Since then, we've returned twice. Once when my mother came down from Atlanta to visit and again for another nice evening out. The only thing I don't particularly care for is the Ceasar Salad. Other than that, this is an incredible restaurant!

We went to Go Fish in Georgia while on vacation in Savannah. Our total was $66 and we left a $10 dollar tip. Upon checking our bank statement we noticed that the tip amount had been changed and we had been overcharged.

We contacted the restaurant to get this fixed and were told that it would be corrected immediately. Two weeks later this has still not been corrected. I called the restaurant again today to find out why and the manager says that only $76 dollars was charged to our card. I explained that I was willing to fax her the bank statement showing otherwise.

She got very nasty with me and is denying that there is a problem. I am in the process of disputing the charge with the bank but I felt people should also be warned to not eat there.
