Restaurant Reviews
A truly non-plus meal. Disappointing. written by

The restaurant is nicely decorated, has attentive and pleasant service (if you go after reading this review ask for ‘Rodrigo’ from Texas - he was a very good server). Frontera had/has a special promotion that uses a very attractive picture of what looks like a entire “red snapper” on a well garnished plate. Yep, I ordered it, and what I receive was an over cooked Tilapia. Seriously overcooked, thus, I sent it back and waited until an undercooked Tilapia came back. It was without flavor and because the restaurant deep fries their fish, it had almost absorbed its weight in cooking oil. NOT GOOD. My wife ordered a spinach quesadilla with chicken. It was large, very large, and eatable, but lacked a distinctive flavor. On the positive side the chips and salsa are great. Look, if you know what good Mexican or good Tex-Mex food taste like then you may feel short changed with Frontera’s food, but if you are in for a fast meal that is filling then this restaurant is OK - just avoid the fish. $35 for two (one ice tea/one water)
