Our family has been to Backwoos many times and will continue to go back.The food is excellant, the service is great ant the building and surroundings are a log cabin lodge. Exactly what you expect in the backwoods. As a mater of fact we went twice last week. None of the people I have been with has ever had a complaint. The homemade rolls are out of this world. We will go back (tonight). If you love good food, good service and a fair price this is your place too.

We are a family of 6 adults, 3 children. We went to Backwoods based on a recommendation from family friend. The restaurant is very casual, homey feeling - cozy, clean, service was excellent even though they were packed out that night. No mix ups on orders, no drink glass empty, no food under cooked, over cooked, very fresh and wonderful. The price is much better than Outback and those other steakhouses and the food is far better, the service is outstanding, respectful, kindness prevails, even the teenagers are great. There is no comparison - this place is far above the big name chains with their slow service, teens and adults with attitudes, then we have to pay them extra for being jerks.
On Saturday night you will probably have a little wait (on large front porch with chairs or inside on benches) but even the wait is worth it. If you want a dining experience that is all around worth your money, this is the place to go. You might even see a deer or two on the way there.
