Thought the hamburgers were nothing special and pricey for a blah burger. I would thought a place specializing in hamburgers would have the best burger in town but the flavor never exceeded average. The service was fine, so no complaint there. I noticed as I drive by now they are not exactly crowded so the people are voting. I also noticed the number of people there not ordering hamburgers which should have been a sign when I walked in.

THE WORST TAKE OUT SERVICE DOWNTOWN!!!! written by anonymous

I work and live in downtown savannah. I run a business a block away from B&D burger. I call in my order and get told to wait 15 minutes. Not only do I consistantly wait 30 minutes, but my order is always WRONG!!! Burger over cooked, no condiments, sloppy service. These peoples only job is to cook and server burgers!!! Why cant they get it right once? Th girls there may be pretty, but they arent good servers at all!!! There is also no adult supervision it seems!! Get it together.

We were visiting Savannah for the first time and of all the restaurants which people recommended that we try, our favorite(which we found on our own) was B&D Burgers. It was better than we expected and could not beat the price for the amount and quality of the food. If ever back in Savannah we will cetainly return to B&D.

About 5 years ago, I went to Savannah on business, as I have done since 1980, and my client inquired had I been to B&Ds? When I saw the sign, my heart sank. Burgers. What can I eat? You see, I am a vegetarian.

After being seated I opened the menu, and the Tybee Burger leapt off the page. A veggie burger!

So I ordered: with cheese, no onion, cook it medium, and plain fries. Plus a local brew on tap that the waitperson recommended. After a long but not inordinate wait, the food arrived. Lets see, what have they screwed up... WITH cheese, NO onion, PLAIN fries, (wonder of wonders) cooked medium! And the beer, Moon River, was superb.

Outstanding!

The place can get crowded at lunchtime, but the wait won't be too long. The waitstaff is oftimes slow, but always affable. My friends tell me that the meat burgers are great, too.

Now, whenever I am in Savannah, which is twice a month on average, my lunch is always waiting for me at B&D's.

B&D Burger has good burgers, onion rings, etc. It's not the first place I recommend to someone paying a visit to Savannah, but it's a nice place to go if you want to have an unusual burger (or a totally normal one) and a beer with some friends.

The service can be slow or it can seem like your waitress completely forgot about you, but it doesn't sour the meal so much you'll never go back. Not in my experience anyway.

I love B&D. I was in Savannah for the first time, and I am not big on burgers, but after eating there once I go there everytime I am in Savannah. Sometimes it is a little crowded, but if you just relax, then they will bring your food and your patients will pay off. Not only are the burgers great, but so are the curly fries and chicken tenders. The employees are also very kind, and provide excellent service. I love B&D, and I recomend it to anyone that likes good food!
