Hard to guage whether this was an off evening, but time before initial contact should have been an indication that the dining exprience would be on the decline. Time between courses beginning even with cocktails took successively longer and longer. There was no effort to clear the table between courses and we lost track of time as to how long it took to get our entree and even then a direct, tactful request to the waiter was required, after which our entrees immediately appeared, suggesting that it may have been sitting in the kitchen for a time ...the entree itself, a seafood special that was to contain shrimp and scallops contained more shrimp than scallops, although my colleague did fine a few on her platter. Wait stands with trays were left in the aisle forcing patron v. waitstaff and patron v. patron if you tried to navigate the aisle. One concientious patient apparently tired of the bustle around his table actually moved the wait stand to a nearby hallway ... The website touts its "regulars" as a salient marketing point, and perhaps that is what's needed to get basic quality service. In general, I have to sum my experience with the tagaline from my favorite local media consumerist: 'Don't waste youro money!"

Fabulous food - great staff. Couldn't ask for more! I'm a regular. Both eat-in and take-out. Each meal has been exceptional. The pasta is cooked al dente, the seafood is perfect, as well as the other meats.

The portions are large, enough to take home for seconds and the appetizers are large as well. A very nice neighborhood restaurant.

Warm, wonderful atmosphere with friendly wait staff. Authentic, Old World Italian food with HUGE portions. The owners are friendly and go out of their way to make you feel welcome. What a wonderful dining addition to West Chase! And the bar is a great place for meeting neighbors and new friends.
