That's amore has to be the worst resturant I have been to in a long time. My husband and I went there for a night out on Channelside and we chose Amore because of it's location. I'm Italian, but you don't have to be Italian to recognize that the antipasti platter had only 2 types of meat on it, and a center of canned artichokes. I ordered the lasagne because I thought that it is one thing that can't be ruined. I was wrong. The lasagne had maybe 3 layers, had no flavor, and was covered with sauce (which I typically love), but not when it's trying to disguise a horrible entree.

The ambience - what ambience. There was a cute lady that came in at the end of our meal, but the decor is horrible and there were at least 3 waiters standing around while our waiter was very lax.

Bottom line - don't waste your night eating a horrible meal. Go to the restaurant across the street - that's where my husband and I ate our dessert. Great food, great service, and nice light atmosphere.

The food is bad, but the service and ambience were worse. We live near the restuarant, and every time we stroll by, it's empty. That should have been our cue not to try it. But we were lazy one evening and decided it was more convenient to walk over from our condo than to drive someplace. We ended up wanting to walk out the entire time we were there. Our waiter wasn't attentive and we were left waiting for just about everything. But the food just isn't worth the price. Cafe Dufrain across the street is 10 times better!
