This is by far one of the friendliest restaurants with great food taste. I enjoyed everything that I have ordered.

Best Chili Dogs in Michigan

I moved back to Lansing after living in New York city. I can tell you that Dimitri's makes the best New York style chili dogs around, and that includes Detroit's Coney Island district downtown. I would rate Dimitri's chili dog much tastier. I think that if Dimitri's was located in Astoria Queens that it would do well, and that says a lot since NYC is the hot dog capital of the world. Upon moving back, I was glad to see that Dimitri's still serves the same great chili dogs that they did in the 1970's. They have never compromised good taste. Thank you Dimitri's!

You cannot beat Dimitri's for what you pay. Although they are best for breakfast in my opinion, I have also tried some of the lunch items as well and have not been disappointed even once. The staff is always friendly but not overly "talkie," which is great when you're trying to grab a carry-out order with 2 minutes to spare until work time! Try their breakfast special....2 eggs anyway, choice of bacon, sausage or ham, toast and hashbrowns for less than $5.00.
