  We went to Harmonious Monks to try it out for the first time. We went on kids eat free night, turns out it wasn't free, you have to request a menue to get the kids eat free, the bathrooms were NASTY...over priced, not good, glad my party was small I would have been embarresed.

  While it's true that you visit Harmonious Monks for the party atmosphere, the food isn't great. They would do well to make what they offer at least taste like something other than the oil it was cooked in. The service stinks. We went with a party of 20 (for a going away party) and they would only divide the check 4 ways. We made reservations ahead of time - that would have been good information to give before we got there and ordered. If you want to sing along with scantily clad fat chicks and get drunk on cheap beer, this is your place. Otherwise, take a pass and go to Hooters.

  Great Place to celebrate with Friends plus the best entertainment on the east coast. I am shocked there was no cover charge. Whenever friends come from out of town, this is the first place we go.
