Franco was there to greet us as usual. Josh was quick to refill our drinks as usual. Kristi is a vegetarian, and they always cater to her by making anything on the menu vegetarian style. As for me, I enjoyed one of their signature dinners. I honestly don't understand the couple poor reviews, as Franco will redo anything wrong immediately. Too bad really, because our experience is always wonderful.I recommend Dinner over lunch, due to the incredible lunch rush they have there.

Why Buy Chef Boy Ardee when you can eat this?

I ordered Veal Parmigan and a side of Lasagna. The Veal was tough and an overall a waste of time. The Lasagna was garbage. EVERYTHING was bland and totally under seasoned. EVEN the garlic bread was toasted on one side but the other side was hard! HUH??? There were 4 adults in my party and everyone wondered why we ever made the fatal choice of trying Franco's. I am wondering if the OMG wonderful reviews came from Family and friends or employees trying to generate business. LET ME PUT IT THIS WAY. SAVE YOUR MONEY AND TIME, Buy some frozen Lasagna. Eat at Pizza Hut. DO NOT go to Franco's unless they get hot and call in Chef Ramsey for Kitchen Nightmares... RIP we will not ever come back. PS The Employees are very attentive and polite, friendly and quick to refill your water or soft drink.

Tried Franco's for the first time tonight. I was not disappointed at all. The owner and the service were very friendly. The food was delicious. Everyone at our table (there were 8 of us) enjoyed their meal. The portions were good. They have a large variety of menu items to choose from. I don't know what kind of salad the previous poster had, but my side salad was a good mix of iceberg and field greens, with tomato, carrots, and cucumber and their house italian dressing was wonderful. I will go there again.

We are going today fo rmy grandmother's birthday and I am very much looking forward to it. Franco always comes up to our table and talks to us. The food is excellent, the dressing is excellent, and the service is excellent. I agree with the first comment. If you don't like Franco's, you don't like real Italian food.

Love Franco's. The house dressing is the best in town - love dipping the french bread in it. Have been eating there since it opened and never had a bad meal. The seafood is always fresh and enjoy having it prepared with the Italian flair. The service is always courteous and willing to please. If you do not like Franco's, then you do not like good Italian food.

I've eaten at Franco's on atleast 4 occasions and each time it was great. Service is always excellent and prompt. The food was always cooked just right. The pasta wasn't soggy or cold. The most recent time, I had the lasagna and meatballs- AWESOME. Other members of my party had the Tour of Italy and the Eggplant Parm. There were no complaints in those areas either- just praise. When taking my parents there they even had requests for Italian dishes not on the menu. The kitchen staff were more than willing to go out of their way for the special request. I would recommend Franco's to anyone.

    Bad food and small portions

My Fiance and I went to Francos for a romantic evening on Valentines day. I ordered the Tour of Italy and he ordered ravioli. The food was cold, the noodles were not fresh, they were crunchy around the edges, the servings were very small, ecspecially for what we spent on just the two of us! The salad had nothing but ice berg lettuce with shredded carrots and looked pitiful. Not like a true Italian salad if you catch my drift. We were expecting alot more from Francos seeing how it is down town with the other up scale restaraunts. The atmosphere was good, and the waiter was excellent, the food was really bad. We will never go back to Francos....even if someone else was paying!

    Beach Vacation w/Some Italian Flavor

We dined at Franco's twice while on vacation this year. Having eaten there before, we already knew what to expect. There was no disappointment this time around either. The food is always outstanding, whether we select an Italian entree or opt for something more domestic. The fried shrimp is very good and it would be unfair to let the house salad dressing go unmentioned. The service has always been above average, and the owner has introduced himself to us on a couple of occasions, as well. We will certainly continue our patronage when we are in town, hopefully for years to come.
