Good food. Great price. written by nick

I have been here several times for lunch and it has always been a good experience. The lunch menu is served with soup and a spring roll. You can't beat the price.

Good variety. written by dahlis

We like the taste of Thai Kitchen better than Taste of Thai, but we prefer Taste of Thai's tofu better. Thai kitchen simply fries the heck out of their tofu. They have a great variety you can even order things that aren't on the menu! I order Pad See Ew, which isn't on the menu.Their chief specials include soup, which is awesomely delicious. I've tried half of the specials and have enjoyed them. Sometimes it's better then others. Their consistently is lacking. My boyfriend orders pad thai every time and is generally happy with it. We never find the food to be bad. As I said sometimes it's better than others. Also it's the only Thai food restaurant in the Lansing area that my sister finds acceptable, because you can get your food made super spicy. She doesn't like the sweeter Thai food.

Good food, spotty service written by fluffykitty

I have been to Thai Kitchen several times with friends and have always been pleased with the food. The tom yum soup is especially good and the pad Thai is fine but not fantastic. The service is a little spotty, and the servers were often hard to track down when we needed water, the check etc. But overall, it's a good basic Thai place with reasonable prices.

When you go here I suggest you to try Kang kai and order a extra bowl of fried rice (which only costs a $1 more) and mix it in. You'll have enough food/leftover for later which tastes great!! The lunch is soo cheap too. Your food comes out fast and it is to die for. Before I have to leave the town, I'm planning to visit this place several more times.

Good Food, Fast Service written by Mulyahnto

I usually do Take Out, but eat in occasionally. The take out service is fast, about 10 minutes. I usually order the same thing (Panang) and the spicyness level varies from mild to spicy. They are not really consistent. Other than that the food is very good. I have yet to order something that I didn't like.

I thought the Thai Kitchen was incredibly good. As soon as you come in, you're greeted and then taken to a table. Seconds later, you're given glasses of water. The young waitresses working were very lively, and very knowledgable to the different recipes the restaurant offered. About 10 minutes of waiting (it was around dinner time), they brought the food out. Overall it was a comfortable quiet setting, and the service was incredibly fast. I would recommend this place to anybody!

Delicious food- so so service written by diningguest

The food is always great. The coconut curry chicken soup is fabulous--but not on the menu. Order a large and they will bring you a tureen with easily enough for 3 or 4 people.

That is one of my favorite lunches, the yummy soup and spring rolls.

The service could be better. The ambience, pretty low budget--it's in a strip mall so what do you expect.

I like everything on the menu .... never seems to be too crowded, but let me tell you, if you want good Thai food, try this place.

They are extremely fast as well -- don't expect to wait more than a few minutes for your food

The worst Thai food experience! written by galaxy65

First off-my husband I have been ill since we ate here-our stomachs are torn up and completely upset--I don't know if it was food poisoning or high levels of MSG, but I have never felt so ill from eating food!
Based on the other high reviews, my husband I decided to try out the Thai Kitchen. When we arrived the server acted extremely annoyed that we were there--dont know if someone had called in sick--she sure acted like it. It took a long time for her to bring us water or to take our order--even though there were only 2 other tables in the restaurant. We should have ran based on the service--it would have saved us from the TERRIBLE food! It was bland, over salted and was exactly like Chinese food! We love Thai food and this was not Thai food at all! It had no flavor--we first had the terrible and skimpy soup that was so tasteless that we asked for the rest of our food hot--which apparently annoyed the server even more. The food was so gross--it was all onions! The salad was a limp bag salad with more onions then I have ever seen on aything! We could have gone to a much better Chinese restaurant and had a better experience. If my husband was not so nice, I would have refused to pay for it! Plus, as I mentioned above, we are both ill today from it. Really ill.
I gave it a 2 for ambience--I would give it a 1 except the loud noises of people being thrown on the ground coming from the next door Tae Kwan Do Dojo were amusing.
THE WORST RESTAURANT I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!
