  We took our college group for dinner before an outing and the food was great. The small room was nice but you do not sit together. Service was good. The stuffed flounder was great. Wish they had a place to seat 16 all together. Oh well, can't win them all.

  We first tried Crystal River after moving to Tallahassee. Their shrimp spread as part of the appetizer is out of this world good. Unfortunately they've downsized the portion lately. The seafood dinners were excellent. They offer a shrimp special and the grouper was outstanding. Other items on the menu, such as chicken, were good as well. The service was quick and friendly. Mostly you sit in booths for meals but the restaurant is clean and recommended.
