  european-like dining experience

  If you are tired of the "franchise experience" restaurants try Chez Laurent. The atmosphere has a real european feel as soon as you enter the dining room. Soft piano music is provided by a wonderful lady named Joy. Our server was professional and friendly. The menu has all the delicious French items-Onion Soup-Country Pate-crispy warm french bread-Veal-Fish and Steak. Our main entrees, the Veal Normandy and a Pork Tenderloin were served with Potato and Veggis. The Veal and Pork dishes were excellent although the sauce with tenderloin was over salted for my taste. Don't forget about deserts-it's a french restaurant right? We split a Creme Brulee and the coffee was fresh. An affordable wine list is available. This restaurant is not inexpensive as most entrees are mid $20 range and up although I believe it is still a good value considering the complete dining experience. We will gladly return.

  Chef Laurent is the best secret in Fort Lauderdale....
  You can get to know him on a personal level...and your dinning experience will move up a level....if you are in a hurry..dont go..he cooks it all to order and it shows.
  What a terrific experience our dinner was. WE will be back.
