  worst experience ever!!!!!!!

  We went in a party of 10 for an 11 yr olds birthday!! It was so hot in the place our baby in the group cried the whole time because he was so hot!! Everyone in the group ordered-salads were wrong- no drink refills- no air conditioning- the air was out we found out the next day and with the heat of the grills it was unbearable in 100 degree weather-- my son had waited all summer to eat there his favorite place for his birthday!!! He was so disappointed as we had to put food in take out boxes and leave as soon as the cook was finished for fear of a heat stroke-there was automatic gratutity--which NO ONE EARNED AT ALL and when I called the next day to talk about this with the manager- she said she was the absolute top manager with Wasabi and she would do nothing- nothing - about this!!!! I was so upset -we go there at least once every three to four weeks-what a disappointment what bad managing skills!! It is a shame they have let such a great place be run by absolute fools- I will never go there again-- nor will any one in my extended family or all of are work places!! And we all work!!! We will go out of town for any Japanese!!!! DO NOT EAT THERE!!!!!

  Had to get own drinks in the bar (waited 20 mins.), no salads at dinner, absolutely no exchange with the cook and the guests, to go boxes placed on the table before anyone was thru with dinner. Poor attitude by the waitress, no restitution available for no salads, "we can't do anything about that, sorry". Had to ask twice for drinks at the dinner table. I could go on and on....The worst service I've had in Knoxville in 30 years. Food marginal. Awful experience. Called the manager, pitiful exchange with her. Automatic gratuity added to the check, they neither earned it or deserve it.

  One nice thing about loving sushi is that you can usually be seated right away at the sushi bar, while everyone else waits for a table for the hibachi grill experience.
