  This is a neighborhood restaurant/bar that appears to be struggling for its place as it never has crowds like the sports bar several establishments down the street. They have a 1/2 price burger on Wednesdays which is good for the price if you like it cooked however it comes out. The service is extremely poor.....usually one waiter for the lunch time "crowd," and this waiter likes to watch TV vice be attentive to his customers. Definitely the tortoise type. No problem with order taking and delivering but to get anything else is a challenge. The wiater needs to be repeatedly asked to refull drinks. He will refill tea but say nothing to someone at the same table who is out of a soft drink. The waiter has been asked to leave a small pitcher at the table so he would not be bothered with refills, and he would say OK but never once did it. This would not be so bad if the restaurant was crowded, but with only a few more tables occupied and the waiter spending mopst of his time by the bar watching TV, it is inexcusable. 50% of the time there was a slight wait for the check. As regulars who always tip well and are courteous, this restaurant just does not warrant repeat business. There are lots of places to get 1/2 price burgers in Arlington without Tortoise service.
