A friend and I went to Tidewater Grill last summer. I am a down-home girl so I was a little uneasy because it sounded a little upscale for what I'm used to. The food was incredible. I tried food that I didn't think I would ever try and now I want to recreate it at home....without much luck, of course. The waiter suggested a perfect wine to complement our dinner and our tastes. Tidewater is too far away for me to visit again, but if I know anyone going to Charleston, WV, it is a place I would definitely recommend for a wonderful dining experience!
The atmosphere was very nice. A step above. We went there as a final great meal on a week long vacation. The food was good and the waitress very friendly. We did have to ask for additional butter for our meal. Also, only seeded rolls were offered. Some older people are unable to eat the seeds for health reasons. When we asked a waitress if they had any other type of bread in the back for my mother she said quickly no and moved on. I would definitely try it again.
