My special night at The Worthington Inn became the graetest night of my life because I got engaged that night while at the restaurant. The management and servers did a great job working with me to set up the perfect place and time for me to pop the question to my future wife. They first sat us in one of their many dining rooms and kept it exclusive for us until I asked the question. The food was almost perfect! My only complaint about the food,if you even want to call it a complaint, is that the portion sizes were too big. I am accustomed to paying the same amount of money at similar fine dining establishments and recieving substantially less food. The only reason I am mentioning the portion sizes is because I had planned to propose to my girlfriend just before our desserts would be served and was afraid she would be too stuffed to have a dessert. In the end,our server picked up the cues I was giving him and helped me convince her to order a dessert so I could continue with my plan. After she said YES, the server immediatly brought in the Champagne I ordered when I made our reservation. Many of the employees came to our table to congratulate us. In addition to the great food, service and value, the ambiance was extraordinary. The small dining room we were in was decorated with nice art work, the lights were dim and every table had burning candles. We will definitely come back to eat. I would recommend this place to everybody.
